At New Hampton School, our new Early Action application option gives students and families a chance to apply ahead of the regular deadline, receive an earlier admission decision, and alleviate the stress of the waiting game. It’s a simple way to stay one step ahead while keeping your options open.
What Is Early Action—and Why Does It Matter?
Early Action means submitting your application before the standard deadline and hearing your decision sooner. Unlike binding Early Decision options you might see in some admission programs, Early Action allows you to explore multiple schools without immediate commitment.
For students, it’s a chance to show initiative and excitement about joining the New Hampton community. For families, it brings peace of mind and more time to plan—whether that means scheduling a campus visit, exploring financial aid, or simply celebrating an early “yes.”

The most important thing is submitting a complete and authentic application that reflects your best self. The Regular Decision timeline ensures your application still receives full consideration.
