New Hampton School to present Legally Blonde JR.

New Hampton School students will have audiences thinking pink when they present their production of Legally Blonde JR. with a private performance at 7:00, Friday May 11 and a public performance on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00. The fun and upbeat musical follows the adventures of a sorority girl named Elle Woods (Mikayla Williams ’18) – a Gemini with a double Capricorn moon – who tries to win her ex-boyfriend back by earning a Harvard law degree.

“Legally Blonde JR. may be a comedic, light-hearted show, but it also explores serious themes of self-discovery and independence which resonate with people of all ages,” says Joe Sampson, Director of Performing Arts and the director of the play.

With a book by Heather Hach, music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, Legally Blonde JR. is based on the book by Amanda Brown and the hit Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon.

Showtime Details

New Hampton School will present a public performance of Legally Blonde JR. on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00. The suggested donation at the door is $15 for adults and $10 for Seniors and students. New Hampton School community members are admitted free. New Hampton, NH residents are admitted free with a valid driver’s license. For more information please call 603-677-3567. There is no dress code, but please don’t wear white after Labor Day.
